The Fall Sports Recognition will be held Monday, December 10, in the Dade Middle School gym. Light refreshments will be served from 6:30-7:00 and the program will begin promptly at 7:00.

The DMS Band and Chorus will present a concert at DMS in the gym on Wednesday, December 12, at 9:00. If you get a chance, please come by and get a good start on the Christmas season.

The DMS/DCHS Band concert will be held on Thursday, December 13, at 7:00 and DCHS. It should be a wonderful concert.

The second Academic Market Place was a huge success. The fourth grade students from DES and Davis had a good visit and enjoyed seeing the projects. There were 83 projects and during SFA on Thursday afternoon, there were 62 awards presented! A special thanks to Mr. Jelley, Mr. Randolph and Mrs. JVR for organizing the event and to all of the students and teachers who participated in the activity. The next Market Place will take place in March.

Please check with your child and make sure that he/she has turned in all make-up work and has re-taken any tests/quizzes.

The 8th grade exam schedule is:

• Dec. 17th ----- 1st period
• Dec. 18th ----- 3rd and 4th period
• Dec. 19th ----- 5th and 7th period
