It has been a pretty quiet week. By the time you read this, you will have read in the local papers all about the "Silver Award" DMS received from the Georgia Department of Education. What an honor!

November 5: School Council meets in the media center

November 6: Hunter's Safety Course 6-9 in the cafeteria

November 9: Veteran's Day Lunch
This lunch is for any and all veterans and anyone currently on active duty.

Please check with your child to see if he/she owes any money to the cafeteria or to the office for charges. We appreciate your help in this matter.

If you have a child who gets dropped off in the morning or picked up in the afternoon, please encourage them to look both ways before moving to and from the building. Also, if you would help the folks on duty by keeping an eye on your child and any other child as they move in and about the cars.

Basketball and wrestling practices will be beginning soon. Please be sure to know when and where to pick up your students as different groups will be practicing at different locations.

Just a reminder to those 6th grade parents who need to complete immunization records. The deadline is November 16.
