On Monday, August 27, there will be a parent workshop at Dade Middle School from 6:30-7:30 in the media center. This workshop will explain the Thinkgate testing process. I think you will find the information interesting and helpful in understanding why Thinkgate is such a valuable tool in instructional planning.
Softball, football, and cross country are all underway, and we are so appreciative of our coaches and players! They have had to endure some extremely hot practices. We know that their hard work will pay off.
There is no school on Monday, September 3 (Labor Day).
ITBS testing will be September 4 - 7. If at all possible, please try to schedule any doctor appointments after lunch.
School pictures will be September 5 in the afternoon.
Progress reports go home on September 12.
There is no charging in the cafeteria. Please be sure that your student has money to pay for lunch. It is much easier to send a check and pay by the week or by the month so that students don't have to remember money each day.
Please remember that there is no student drop off in the rear of the school unless you have approval from an administrator. Approval is reserved for students with health issues.
Beginning next week the "Greetings" message will need to be accessed by going to: http://dms.dadecountyschools.org.
