Information concerning the DMS After School Program:

1. The program runs Monday through Thursday from 3:10 to 5:30 PM.
2. There is a $25.00 per semester fee. Everyone must pay this fee.
3. There are least two certified teachers working every day.
4. There is one special education teacher working every day.
5. Parents must come in and sign out students when they are picked up.
6. There is a late fee for parents arriving after 5:30 PM.
7. Misbehavior will not be tolerated.
8. Part of the grant requirement for this program is that drug and alcohol prevention is addressed. This is usually done one day a week. Students are expected to participate in this activity.
9. Part of the grant requirement for this program is that parents must complete a survey.
10. The grant has been renewed for the past several years and it is our hope that we will be able to continue to have the grant to offer academic assistance as well as a safe environment for students after school

NOTE: Students can bring money to purchase a snack from one of the machines if they desire to do so.
