Internet Policy

Parents must give or deny permission for students to access the internet at school and have their pictures or work posted on the internet.  An Internet Permission Form must be signed and returned to the school as soon as possible.  This form is included in the brown envelop that students receive on the first day of school or upon enrolling during the school year. The form will be kept on file in the media center and is good for one school year.  When using the internet at school, students are to be working on learning activities and will be monitored by teachers and the media staff while in the lab or the media center.  The school system's network is equipped with safety filters and students getting to sites other than the one directed to by the teacher will lose their internet privileges.  Students are not allowed to use school computers for anything other than school assignments/tasks.
