DMS Gears up for Habitown 2010 Dade Middle School has partnered up with Habitat for Humanity and the Dade County Chamber of Commerce for this fall's Project Synergy competition entitled, Habitown. Students will work in groups to incorporate several interdisciplinary elements into their projects, including: scale drawings of house plans (math), an advertising campaign (language arts), labeling the "green" eco-friendly elements of their house/property (science), and several other areas. The projects will be judged by both invited community members and official judges.
Look for all your Dade County Wolverine sports schedules at http://db.dadecountyschools.org/~sports/ just as soon as the fall schedules are updated. The link to the pages can be found on the main Dade County Schools web site in the upper menu labeled DC Sports.
Dade Middle School would also like to welcome a new athletic director for the school, Mr. Jonathan Page. Mr. Page takes over this position from Mrs. Sharon Morris, who retired last spring. In addition to the position of A.D., Mr. Page also works with middle school Baseball.
Come out and support your Wolverines!
